This tour is your unique chance to spend a day in the fjord region of Norway. You will get away from Oslo to enjoy the picturesque mountain plateaus, valleys, canyons, waterfalls and fjords. The comfortable vehicle with your private driver/guide will transport you through the best of Norwegian natural attractions. Not to tire you with long car rides, we will combine the different means of transportation. You will enjoy an hour train ride on Bergen Railway, then switch to famous Flam Railway, and after a quick lunch you go for 2 hour fjordcruise along the two branches of the longest fjord in Norway - Sognefjord.

You will drive through Hardangervidda National Park with your private driver/guide. You can stop for photos and great views.

Geilo

On you way to Flam you will pass Geilo - the mountain town known for its ski resort and hiking trals. Geilo is a gateway to two National Parks and it has a train station which belongs to the Bergen Railway. You will board the train to reach Myrdal and switch to the Flam Railway train there.

We had a special knowledgeably guide (Agnis)that drove us to a train station that took us to one city and them we board a Flam railway . all the time we were seeing most beautiful snd different colors of The trees and the beautiful of the sogneffjord of course.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion. We had a little hiccup with the reservation but Alex quickly took care of it. Speaking of Alex he was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone especially if you have Alex as your driver/guide

Notre guide privé Arturs nous a pris à l'hôtel et nous a emmenés prendre le train à Geilo pour Myrdal : paysage somptueux où, fin mai, la neige recouvre encors la terre et la glace est visible sur les eux ! Puis changement de train à Myrdal pour prendre le fameux Flam Railway, avec ses antiques banquettes, direction Flam. C'est une succession de paysages fabuleux, aux mille cascades, entrecoupés de tunnels. Un arrêt de 10 mn est prévu pour voir de très près l'une des plus importantes. Puis, nous avons pris un bateau électrique pour naviguer sur le Sognefjord : à l'avant du bateau, dans un silence assourdissant, on a l'impression de voler aux dessus de l'eau ! La vue est à couper le souffle ! A l'arrivée, notre super guide nous amène sur 3 points de vues exceptionnels : une passerelle au dessus du vide avec le fjord en dessous, un petit muret toujours avec un décors de cinéma derrière et enfin, au plus proche d'une énorme cascade. Puis retour à l'hôtel. Nous avons adoré cette journée très intense, mais fabuleuse !
